I paid in-store using a prepaid gift card — how will my refund be processed?

If you paid using a prepaid Visa, Mastercard, or EFTPOS gift card in-store, your refund will be issued onto a JD Sports gift card.

💡 Why can’t I be refunded back to the original prepaid card?

Prepaid gift cards are typically non-reloadable, which means once the funds are used, we can’t put money back onto them. Because of this, we’re unable to refund to the original card or provide cash or EFTPOS refunds for those transactions.

✅ What you’ll receive instead:

  • A JD Sports physical or digital gift card, provided at the time of refund.

  • It can be used at any JD Sports store within 3 years.

Refunds for purchases made with prepaid gift cards must go onto a JD Sports gift card. We’re unable to offer alternative refund methods for these types of payments.
